Does it seem to you that within the legal profession there’s an awful lot of talk about diversity and inclusion but not nearly enough action? At the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession (“IILP”), that’s often how we feel. Hence our motto: “Real change. Now.” But to move beyond talk and effect that change – meaningful change, as opposed to random action for the sake of action – requires thoughtful analysis and impactful strategy. We can’t affect that change without some sense of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. We know what the problem is. We know the desired outcome. What’s been missing is just what we need to do to reach the desired outcome. Until now.
